  1. SafeSerial is an OCX component 
  2.             which includes high-technology security functions designed to avoid 
  3.             unregistered copies of your software (i.e. piracy). It locks a 
  4.             program to your customer's system so the application will only work 
  5.             on his system as a registered copy. Implementation is very simple, 
  6.             since you only need to modify some properties and make a few 
  7.             function calls in order to fully protect your application. The same 
  8.             executable will work as a demo until you unlock SafeSerial with a 
  9.             code, that will only work with that particular copy of your program. 
  10.             Of course, if the program is copied, the new copy will become a 
  11. demo.
